For over twenty years, Toughcats have been hooking listeners with original songs, tight-knit instrumental arrangements, and gripping live performances. Balanced by two lead vocalists, and well timed harmonies, this trio craft an eclectic mix of influences into a unique and powerful sound. They have released five full length albums, the most recent, Falling Stone on September 5th, 2025.

Falling Stone is the product of patience, maturity, and time. 11 years since their last album Rough Ones, Toughcats didn’t set out to record another, but the music emerged, and the band felt they owed it to the songs to try and capture them. There were no ulterior motives for recording. No need for it to become anything else. This lead to a more genuine approach to the process, unadulterated by motivations for likes, listens, and attention. Falling Stone is a beautiful presentation of Toughcats. A sound and style that has grown and developed over multiple decades. One that could only be reached after so much time.
